  • 12 Hawaiian rolls
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter
  • 4 cloves garlic minced
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley chopped
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). This ensures your oven is hot and ready to crisp up that garlic butter perfectly.
  • Prepare the garlic butter: In a medium-sized bowl, melt the unsalted butter in the microwave or on the stove. Once melted, stir in the minced garlic, grated Parmesan cheese, fresh parsley, salt, and pepper. Mix well until everything is evenly combined and the garlic starts to infuse into the butter.
  • Slice the Hawaiian rolls: Carefully slice the Hawaiian rolls horizontally. You can either cut them into individual slices or keep them together as one large slab (depending on your preference). Make sure the rolls stay connected at the base for easier handling.
  • Spread the garlic butter: Using a spoon or a pastry brush, generously spread the garlic butter mixture onto the cut sides of each roll. Be sure to get into all the nooks and crannies, allowing the rolls to soak up that flavorful garlic butter.
  • Arrange on a baking sheet: Place the buttered rolls on a baking sheet, cut side up. If you’re using a larger slab, cut it into smaller pieces once baked to make serving easier.
